The Butlers Teach Naturally!!
Since the beginning of time, education has been instilled as one of the most important aspects of existence. My siblings and I are the proud product of educators.
Our mother was a creative writer who had a love for poetry and short stories. She spent her entire life working as an educator. She was a preschool teacher, an English professor and a Sunday School teacher. Our father was in all honesty one of the best teachers of the word that I have ever heard. (And plenty of his students would agree with me. I may be biased, but it’s true-just FYI). “That’s Bible not Butler” was a phrase he often expressed during his teachings. He loved to read and be a true student of the Word.

Back in 1969 they decided to join together and went on to have 9 children. They were proud to announce that ALL 9 children went to college. What an accomplishment!! Currently, 5 are formal educators, 8 are mentors, 2 are coaches, 7 are parents and ALL 9 are natural teachers. The ability to teach is a gift that we all possess and I like to think that our parents had a say in that as well. While some of us love our time in the classroom, being a teacher goes far beyond those four walls. Natural teachers have a genuine love for people and seeing them succeed. We all embrace our God-given gift as teachers and what a blessing it is to see it manifest throughout our entire family.
